Product Description High expansion butyl bentonite based hydrophilic waterstop Jingtong Concrete joint hydrophilic bentonite Rubber Waterstop is a type of concrete application hydrophilic water sealing product to prevent any passage of water through non-moving construction joints. Composed of quality butyl rubber and mastic or expansible clay, when exposed to water, the waterstop swells and forms a permanent compression seal in non-moving concrete construction joints.

Application: It is a swellable clay waterproofing compound that is glued or nailed in strips into construction joints. Known as a hydrophilic waterstop system, bentonite expands up to sixteen times its dry volume when it comes into contact with water, forming a compression seal in concrete joints. Bentonite's ability to swell enables it to fill small cracks and voids in concrete, preventing the ingress of water around joints. And since clay is a natural material, bentonite is a popular waterstop choice for potable water applications, such as: -Non-moving Concrete construction joints.

Physical Property There are two common types of bentonite waterstop. PN type is made by extrusion froming. PZ type is made by extrusion and then vulcanization forming. So they have different properties as below:
